The stories in this issue revolve around various meanings of the theme ‘Space’. Soul Searching is a humourous point of view of a ghost searching for a hideaway in a hospital crowded with other souls. The Escape Plan delves into the thoughts of a foetus growing within the constraints of its mother’s womb. In Give Me Some Space!, a grandmother struggles to understand why her grandchild feels irked by her constant care. Slightly Taller Than That explores the social and psychological challenges tall people face. A Room with a View explores the space of a woman trying to make it in a man’s world. And finally, in the story The Spoke in the Wheel, we travel to outer space where human greed is thwarted before it destroys the well-being of other planets.
