Stuti Mamen

Artist

Stuti Mamen is a research scholar and a self-taught artist from Arunachal Pradesh. She worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, for eight years before resigning to recuperate and focus on her art practice. As an artist, she is passionate about exploring the intersections of social identity and mental health via the graphic storytelling format. The borderland – a space that is quite literally at the margins – is a recurring motif in her work.
