Indrajit Hazra

Indrajit Hazra is a writer and journalist. He is the author of the novels The Burnt Head of Max Saul (2000), The Garden of Earthly Delights (2003) and The Bioscope Man (2008). He is also the author of Grand Delusions: A Short Biography of Kolkata (2013), and has contributed to anthologies including House Spirit: Drinking in India (2016). He writes a weekly column, Indi Pop, for the Bengali daily Ei Shamay, and a fortnightly column, Red Herring, for The Economic Times. He is married, contemplating a dog and a novel, lives in Delhi and Kolkata, and is a man of the great indoors.
